Interiors by Decorating Den is pleased to introduce you to Lori Wawczak, award winning, owner and designer. Her career in interior design has been long and varied. In fact, she designed and built her own home, and was the general contractor during the building process.
Lori's design philosophy is smart and simple. She believes that spaces need to be beautiful and functional. To that end, she works with each client to create a design plan that reflects his or her individual taste and personality.
When she is not busy, helping clients beautify their surroundings, Lori wholeheartedly believes in giving back to her community. She has been active fundraiser in her company's support of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Most recently, she participated in breaking the Guinness Book of World Records for the longest chain of human pink ribbons, when her company collectively raised over $100,000 for the foundation. She also supports the Firefighter's Charitable Foundation and the Police Benevolent Fund. Lori is also a proud member of the Homer Glen, Lemont and Lockport Chambers of Commerce.
Lori is a very proud member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association where she continues her education in the kitchen and bath Industry.
As owner of Interiors by Decorating Den, Lori and her team can provide a wide breadth of products from custom designed window treatments to carpeting and area rugs, wall covering, custom furniture, lighting and accessories. She prides herself on working creatively within each client's budget and lifestyle. Her shop at home service has saved her clients countless hours of endless shopping for just that perfect item.
She also keeps up with current design and product trends by touring manufacturers' showrooms, factories, show houses and the High Point 'market' in North Carolina- the international home furnishing authority.
